Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement helps people ages 40
to 65 prepare for a secure retirement. This four-session course shows
pre-retirees how to save and invest, reduce taxes, manage risk and plan
their estates. The course agenda covers:

Understanding 401(k) Retirement Plans
Understanding 401(k) Retirement Plans shows attendees how to make the
most of their 401(k) plans. This class demonstrates ways to maximize
the effectiveness of this important financial asset. Participants learn
the features, potential benefits and possible drawbacks of 401(k) plans.
They discover the factors that affect their contributions, how to allocate
dollars and ways to access money. Attendees learn why too much of a
good thing may hurt them, and how to forecast the amount of money they’ll
need to retire.
Long Term Care
Long Term Care explains long-term care, how much it costs and who pays
for it. This class answers long-term care questions and explains how
this growing national concern affects elderly people and their families.
Attendees learn how to preserve their independence, protect their assets,
and ensure that they receive quality health care.
All of PFR’s courses include an optional private consultation
where attendees can meet with their instructors to discuss their personal
financial goals and concerns.
